Nathan Reusch is one of the three founding partners of JRQ & Associates. He concentrates in the areas of divorce, bankruptcy and foreclosure defense.
Prior to forming JRQ, Mr. Reusch represented large national banks and loan servicers in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eviction cases. Through his experience representing these banks, he has gained a unique understanding of the loan servicing process. He has also previously worked in consumer bankruptcy representing countless debtors through the bankruptcy process.
Over the past several years, Nathan has obtained significant experience in divorce, child support, child custody, and parentage. He knows every family and situation is different and tailors his representation to each specific case, while tirelessly advocating for his clients to reach the best possible outcome.
He attended Western Michigan University where he received his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. Afterward, he received his law degree from Wayne State University Law School during which time he clerked for the Honorable Judge Edward Sosnick of Oakland County, Michigan. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, National LGBT Bar Association, LAGBAC, and the Small Business Advocacy Council. He was named an Illinois rising star in 2016 as well as an Illinois Super Lawyer for 2021 and 2022.
Mr. Reusch is an avid sports fan and cheers for such teams as Notre Dame, the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Detroit Red Wings. He enjoys staying active, working out and running as well as spending time with his friends and family.
Mr. Reusch is licensed to practice in the states of Illinois and Michigan as well as in the Federal District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.
